The StarServe system also has security applications. You can have surveillance cameras installed and be able to view them, at any time, through all of your TVs and computers. Upgrade your home's security level with the flexibility to activate or disarm your security system through your mobile phone or remote PC, and give your home the ‘lived in’ look with programmable light settings.

Some examples of the ‘modes’ C-Bus can be set to include:

‘Panic Mode’ – If you hear a noise outside, you can instantly light up your whole house with the touch of a button. Internal and external lights will immediately come on and ‘Panic Mode’ can be linked to your homes security system.

'Goodnight Mode' - Forget going around your house and turning off all of the lights at night. Simply select 'Goodnight Mode' on your remote or switch beside your bed, and all lights in your house will fade off. If you need to get up through the night, select another button to turn on the lights dimmed to half brightness so other members of the household are not disturbed.
